Final Analysis:

The feature that makes the DeLonghi DD45P dehumidifier really stand out from other dehumidifiers is its pump feature. You really can just pump straight out the front to a good drainage source either a drain indoors or route a hose out a window so that you can continuously pull the moisture from the air within the room.

I am actually shocked at how nice the dehumidifier looks in comparison to a lot of others. It has a very aesthetically appealing look to it, not making it an eye sore to place in the corner of a room like a lot of other dehumidifiers.

The only downside is that where you hook up your hose to the pump system is in the front. It is not able to be tucked underneath and out the back because it has very small wheels on it.

So, if you do intend on using the pump feature that it has, which I would recommend, then you should expect to see the hose directly on the front at the bottom. Outside of that, a very good dehumidifier.
